The Time Keeper

I just finished The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom and although I liked some of his other books a little better I thoroughly enjoyed it.

The Time Keeper is about Father Time who is punished for discovering and becoming obsessed over time. While he is being punished man takes over the obsession. After his punshment is over he must help two people; one who is asking for too much time and one who wants too little. Each of them are trying to change their own fate in a different way.

What this book made me realize is how much time we are actually wasting. No one knows what will happen tomorrow. I'm working at what is basically a dead end job, my house is a wreck, I don't see my family that much anymore and what do I have to show for it? Nothing. I am trying to become a published writer and I don't even find much time to work on that. I'm forty years old, I'm not getting any younger. It's time.

Thanks for reading, Patti.
